Since the rise of the mass produced book, formal education has been cemented in the world of “things” ― facts to be regurgitated on tests. The rise of computers in education opened the door to shifting education from facts to processes. The benefit is that, while students may forget what they read, they don't forget what they've made. This presentation explores the impact of the technologies of making in the classroom with concrete ideas that can be applied immediately.
